The digital hospital Go Live is in full swing at Logan Hospital and several QEII representatives have been visiting Logan to observe the clinical governance and support process which is focussing on ensuring patient safety during the Go Live period.

The QEII Digital Hospital (QEII DH) Project will bring the complete functionality of the ieMR to QEII Hospital in one stage. This is the first time a single stage approach has been used; previous implementations have used a multi-stage approach.

The Our Digital Hospital logo will appear on all information and training resources for the digital hospital project.
The slogan recognises that Logan and Beaudesert Hospital staff have a strong sense of community and are willing to embrace new technologies and ways of working which will deliver benefits for their patients.
As Redland Hospital and Wynnum-Manly Community Health Centre have successfully implemented the ieMR and completed the Go Live sequence. Some of the Digital Hospital project team will now be moving on to prepare the QEII Hospital, as they track towards their Go Live on the 4 June 2018.
